First, the dual grip means it sits very securely in my air vent - the mount itself is still there. I have an iPhone 11pro max so it's bigger. When I installed the pop socket in the mount, it held up well at first. After a minute or two, the phone swung almost completely to one side; from vertical to horizontal. I've tried leaving the outlet out, plugging it in, but this happened every time with no error. This might not happen on a smaller phone where the weight distribution is different, but this mount didn't fit me so it's going back.
