Ideal for coastal life

I bought this expecting to move to the coastal area. I've been told that the winds can be strong and my area gets a lot of rain, so I should invest in a durable, quality umbrella. After three and a half months living on the coast, I feel like I've come up with a pretty good list of pros and cons. Pros: - Goes with any outfit - Can withstand 25 mph winds and CANNOT be inverted (unlike my roommate's cheap Wal-Mart umbrella). ) - It's easy to see cyclists almost crashing into you (Because it's clear!) - It's really nice to watch the rain and not get your eyes on it - People stare at you in wonder when reverse gear is open - Defense weapon in case of emergency Cons: - Too small if I go without bags it's perfect but if I have a book bag it gets wet - Can't use it to hide your face if you stumble and into a huge one Puddle Fall (Again Because It's Clear) - Can withstand 25 mph winds by catching the wind and dragging you 10 feet down the sidewalk. I love my umbrella! It's definitely worth the money (and it comes from a busted student). I had to work in a tropical storm with winds in excess of 40km/h and it held up great! My only warning is that because it's so strong it sometimes catches the wind and if you're tiny and tiny like me it throws you back a few feet but it doesn't flip!
