These copper-plated aluminum conductors live up to their specifications. This electrical conductor consists of an inner aluminum core and an outer copper sheath. Using CCA makes them economical (aluminum core rather than pure copper which is insanely expensive) with minimal loss. BTW, as described, they are stranded and 12 AWG with red/black color for easy polarity identification. Yes! Even speakers are polarized and need to be wired correctly at both the speaker and the speaker terminals, and the gauge is the right size to fit the banana plugs without the need for extra threads to be cut. Side walls with several curves. The jacket is a little softer than expected and is easy to take off/take off, but it also means it can bruise easily in some cases. On the plus side, resistance is low and line to the speakers is good even at 30 feet. Low impedance = good speaker connection = more real amplifiers per speaker = good sound. That pretty much sums up the equation. For the asking price I think it's definitely worth five stars!
