Review on Cuisinart DFP 14BCNY Processor Brushed Stainless by Dustin Berry

I received this machine as a gift about a week ago. It is already being used in my home kitchen! Just today I diced mushrooms and onions, grated cheese and chopped strawberries, apples and tomatoes. They were all beautifully done without damaging the food. This resulted in perfectly grated cheese, nicely sliced fruit and veg, and the mushrooms and onions were diced just right for my homemade "cream soup." I'm amazed at the speed at which it processes and still has smooth clean cuts with no pureed food. It's also very quiet! The bowl was large enough to hold an entire 2lb block of shredded cheese. Both holes, big and small, were used today. A smaller feed tube allowed me to fold in the strawberries and prevent them from falling over, which helped produce more even slices. With a larger one, I was able to cut my 2lb block of cheese into 4 pieces and shred the entire block in no time. The bigger my tomato kit, the more it wouldn't fit in my entire tomato kit, but I was able to flip my tomatoes sideways and still get nice slices. I snapped some photos/videos along the way to show the processes and to compare blades of different thicknesses. I bought a few extra slices along with my gift, which included both a thin slicing blade and a thick one. I used the grating disc and slicing disc that came with the cheese and tomato maker. I cut the strawberries with all three just to show the comparison and so others can see how it will cut if they are thinking of buying a different thickness. final product. I find this machine easy to use and a pleasure to have in my kitchen. Easy to use. Now I know how to load and change discs, so this is a really simple but very effective machine. I highly recommend.
