Cuisinart DFP 14BCNY Processor Brushed Stainless Review

This machine has a bad design. The video accompanying the ad says it can work with bread and other hard dough. This is false advertising. My first bet was today and I was trying to make a loaf of bread. The dough has risen under the knife, down the cylinder and clogged the entire bottom of the mixing bowl. The car was hot. He cooked the dough under the knife to look like pasta and rolled it up so tightly it couldn't be removed in any way I could think of.

Great if it works but I haven't been able to use mine for months. The motor doesn't break, but the plastic does, and when you ask for a replacement part you wait forever for it to arrive. In my case it was the wrong part when it arrived and when I asked them to replace it I was sent back from one carrier to another. This is my third Cuisinart stand mixer since 1994; I've always relied on my Cuisinarts (I'm a former caterer) for various purposes, couldn't imagine cooking without them and was thrilled to get the new model. I am incredibly disappointed and have decided to throw away this poor quality product.
