Yes, as another reviewer pointed out, it's difficult to connect. Inside there is little space for the input and output of the left and right speakers. I wired it up at the workbench by connecting all the speaker wires. Like a wiring harness. Then I installed it outside and routed the cables to the speakers and amplifier. It's a neat setup with all the wires hidden and barely visible. I was proud of myself. Then I turned on the amp to check it. The volume control has a rotary control that locks at each of the 10 volume levels. As I turned the knob I noticed that in two positions the right speaker is muted and I only hear the left speaker. I don't even think I'll be sending it back because, once installed, it's not field replaceable. I have to rip out all the cables I installed and start over on the workbench. I wish they would test these things before they sell them! (Or maybe they do and that seller sells the marriage.)
