Review on Kreg KHC 1420 Automaxx Clamp 6 Inch by Jeremy Jackz

When I first got this clip I used it all the time. Then about 40 days after I bought it, it lost its clamping pressure. I contacted Kregtool through their website and explained the problem. 3 days later I had a new collar! I have several other Kreg tools and have never had a problem with them. Having had to deal with their customer service I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from them! The new clip looks like the locking mechanism could be a bit larger. I put the two side by side and couldn't tell any difference anywhere except that the adjustment screw on this one has a lot more pressure at lower pressure settings than the last one, even when it worked. Another thing I wanted to mention about this clamp is that sometimes it takes two hands to hold it as the grip requires more strength due to the auto adjust feature and they start out quite far apart.
