I am a Bronze and Silver Level Amateur member. The first thing that bothered me was the lack of support in the forefoot area of the shoe. This turned out to be an advantage - the ground feel is much better! Still waiting to see how the soles hold up - I use a suede brush to dust the floor rather than a harder dance brush but I dance about 10 hours a week and after 2 months they are holding up great. I'll post a repost if I need to resell them (with Freed soles of course) - but given the cost I'd say they've paid off. Very comfortable, very good ground feel, very good value for money IMHO. A NOTICE! - they have a 1" heel - not really for serious latin dancers but perfect for the smooth and ballroom dancers - waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, tango and (if I was fast enough) Viennese waltz.
