I bought this device to flash Tasmota on it so I can control it with Home Assistant. I was able to successfully flash it (with some soldering and operations) and it works great. I can control power, heat, anion, mist level, relative humidity setpoint and timer during MQTT. As it turns out, it's a good moisturizer too! Large capacity tank that lasts a long time and is easy to clean. I run 3-stage reverse osmosis water in and use a silver ion tank cleaner fish (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=humidifier+fish) to prevent biological activity. While the accessories for the HEPA filter element and ceramic water filter don't seem like I'll be able to find them, in my case both aren't really necessary and can be expendable. The warm mist function and anion generator are cool, as is the night light. The temperature sensor is always off by a couple of degrees, and the humidity sensor on the short pigtail next to the power cord may not be as accurate either, but both work, and the relative humidity adjustment mode allows a large hysteresis to adjust for this. I have two other Zwave hygrometers that support them. All in all a solid device for the price and the cheapest, if not the only, easiest way to get full control of your humidifier in Home Assistant.
