Review on Heatshield Products 770001 Shield Adhesive by Richard Summerall

Firstly, the appearance of this material is quite good and its thermal protection is acceptable. The problems I have is that the glue used is not strong enough so the edges can lift. As the edges rise, they begin to fray, and the only way to solve this problem is to trim the ends. I wish the weave was tighter. In some places the aluminum chassis is visible through the shield. I have seen all of these problems with vehicles from other manufacturers. For the price I would have expected better performance. However, since most of my engine bay is already covered with it, changing to something else would be expensive and time consuming.
