I wake up before my husband and use the light from the bathroom lamp to do my makeup. I decided to try this lighter weight mirror and I'm glad I did! It comes with USB Plus, but I put batteries in it because I didn't want to mess with the plug on my dressing table. Yes, the first light is bright and some may like it. But if you don't, you can SIMPLY keep your finger on the button and watch the light dim. It is so easy. I like magnifying mirrors on the side and find them useful. I also like how it folds up to keep dust off of it when not in use. For $15 it's worth it.
