The problem with this quilt stand is that the holes aren't big enough for the screws. As I understand it, they should be slightly smaller than the screw. But a friend stopped by to try and help me with this and he eventually suggested that probably just a drill would open up enough holes to put this thing together. My friend is pretty strong - he couldn't put those screws in the holes. The wood appeared to be of good quality as did the finish and it never occurred to me that I would encounter such a problem. Unfortunately, I threw the box away, otherwise I would have sent it back. Luckily it wasn't too expensive as I suspect it will go in the garbage as no one I know has a drill. Either way, you have been warned! You might get one to collect. Probably no!
