This is a beautiful addition to my office! The gold base is so chic & matches the other gold accessories perfectly. The velvet chair swivels and glides effortlessly & was so simple to assemble, yet is quite sturdy. I highly recommend this if you don’t need this for a long day, 5 day per week chair. I only say that because of ergonomics, as there is not a lot of support or any lumbar support. That said, I LOVE this chair, and how they managed to marry beauty with essential office furniture.EDIT: I’m back to update my original review. This chair looks nice, better than nice really. That’s it. It was comfortable for maybe a month then the mechanism to adjust its height broke and it just became flat and very uncomfortable. I am so terribly disappointed in the purchase and it was not a cheap chair. Please spend your money on a better chair with more padding & support. If you’re interested, you can look for this one on the curb come trash day!
