I just installed these bearings. They were "soft" but fit well. The locking pins that hold them was an issue, they are on the base plate (nothing to do with new bearings). Make sure you apply WD-40 or something similar to the middle nuts and bolts holding the plate. The handling of the car has changed, it has become much tougher (96 thousand on Buick Park Avenue). Oh yeah, and make sure you tighten the middle nut (it should be really tight). You will need to reuse yours, a new one is not included and of course the instructions say "replace center hub nut". I tried to buy them locally and no one has them in stock. You will get a new one if you order the entire hub assembly. These Timkin bearings are exactly what you need, spend a little more money on them so hopefully you won't have to do it again any time soon. If you don't have a hoist (I don't), allow about 2 hours per side. After completing the first one, you will likely improve by 25%.
