First, my initial shock when the package arrived was how small it was. I guess I hadn't paid attention to the specs but I was expecting something a little bigger. However once we started using the light, the quality of the light outweighed any size concerns.I purchased this to use while working on my kids trucks. For some messed up reason, these boys seem to find the energy to work under the hood starting around 10pm. The diffused illumination a single bank emits is amazing. We added magnetic tape to the back so we can 'stick' the lights to the engine block or other metal surfaces. We rarely need to use all three banks.If the manufacturer reads these reviews, I have a suggestion which is to create a rechargeable, battery powered version. Dealing with the cord can be a pain when moving around a lot. I purchased a rechargeable, LED light which has horrible illumination, and it's not diffused so half the time, we are being blinded when trying to work.Just a side note, I'm not sure how it happened, but one of my kids sat on one of the banks, and bent it. IT STILL WORKS PERFECTLY and it actually helps that it's bent in some situations.
