To be honest I don't know why people are complaining about these tables. They are durable and look great. I get compliments when people come and last night my relatives wanted to buy a link for themselves. We use them at least 2-3 times a week. I wouldn't load them with anything heavier than a heavy plate of food, but that's really what they're made for. The clamps are sticky at first but we've had them for about a year now and they've been loosening ever since. Just give it time and use it. Montage is a pain. My husband swore and drank 2 beers if that helps. The brown color is much darker than in the photos, but still very beautiful. We've since bought new living room furniture and actually decided on a new TV console and coffee table that better match the TV stands. 😂
