Review on Zippo 29871 Zippo Nautical Lighters by Elizabeth Rue

I was so excited when I got my first Zippo! And I couldn't be happier to find one with the Dark Lord and the Cthulhu Destroyer on it. (Hey hey! Cthulhu Fhtagn!) And it's beautiful! However, I didn't realize how many times I would have to fill out this @#*$ thing! Any filling is insanely short-lived. Depending on how often you use your lighter, you can refill your Zippo once a week or more! When you inhale those butane fumes, you also enjoy the scratchy throat, heaviness in your chest, and lingering taste of toxins that come with it. I've learned that when smoking herbal blends from a pipe, I have to light something else with a Zippo (raw spaghetti actually works great!) and then light the pipe so I don't inhale the awful butane fumes. This is hardly convenient and often requires multiple attempts. Pooh. I can't say I regret buying this beautiful piece. This can be useful when camping. But I'm considering getting a disposable plastic lighter again for everyday use. Which sucks because I'm trying to reduce waste, especially plastic. Kinda freaked out.
