This is the perfect comb for me. It's really small, about 2.5 inches closed and 4.5 inches open. It was a little difficult to open and close when it arrived and had a really strong plastic smell, but after about 2 days of breaking in and airing it's perfect for me. I really like its color and design, although I bought it more for function than looks. If like me you're just growing a beard or mustache this is a great comb for beginners, but if you're a true mountaineer and need a wooden comb or something you can keep hunting. This comb may not be able to deal with your really thick hair.
