Review on Enhanced Protection and Durability: Combat Sports MMA Kickboxing Shin Guards by Amrozi Papi

These shin guards offer excellent protection and cushioning, but so far we (nephew) have only used them for kicking the bag. There is ample padding and the straps are secure and fit very well and the toe strap is comfortable and wide enough not to dig into the heel or sole of the foot and keeps the cover in a good position on the top of the foot. The velcro straps are strong enough and I don't expect them to stretch anytime soon - probably never. We've used other guards that tend to move a bit due to the looseness of the straps, but I don't see that with these, and while they offer a snugger fit, they're not uncomfortable. I'm curious about the other gel pads I've seen but as far as straight runs go they are excellent. This is primarily for hitting the bag or direct training, they are more than enough. I'm a bit worried about the toe protection but I think that goes for any rubber unless you get specific protection.
