Review on ๐Ÿท๏ธ BLACKHAWK Shemagh Olive Black 330005OD by Kenny Rossi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't leave home without it

What to say about Shemaughs: There are many uses, warmth in cold weather, water addition in hot weather, insect repellent, sand, windbreak, compression, bandages, tourniquet, sprain bandages, firewood wear, camouflage, weapon wraps and the list goes on. Some are woven, some are thicker, ideal for fall/winter outings. Some of them are made thinner for the summer. I bought a lot from different companies. Blackhawk is a woven, heavier material that is well made. Rothco, 5 stars, cheaper, thinner but still works well. I would stay away from printed Shimaughs as they don't last either. When new, hand wash, soak in vinegar or ice to set color. Rinse and dry carefully. You will get thicker like a soft t-shirt. I carry one of these in all my survival/outdoor backpacks.
