Review on 🔘 5 lb Low Fire Cone 06 White Pottery Clay - Rocky Mountain Clay CT3 by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good clay takes time to dry enough to be shaped.

Received this clay about two weeks ago so haven't seen it glaze yet but the clay is good for hand building and holds moisture well but doesn't dry out too quickly. but she arrived incredibly wet and almost unfit for modeling. . Maybe this tone is best for the wheel? A few minutes of wedges on the canvas helped, but I've never received a box of such soft clay before. Once the initial wedging is done and the clay is dry enough to support its own weight, it is very easy to work with. The silver lining is waiting for the clay to dry, taught me patience! Overall I would buy again now knowing what to expect but it was still amazing when I first opened the bags.
