Size chart is ridiculously wrong

This is what size M looks like on a 24 inch diagonal. You should measure diagonally, not the height of the bag, so I took an M based on the size chart. The fabric seems almost a foot longer so I now doubt even an S size would be too big. It fits like a garbage bag. This just got here for tomorrow's trip and I've already started the return process. So much for protecting my luggage on my journey. The print is cute and I'll rate it a 5 but can't rate anything else due to the size so imprecise.
