If you have an OEM TCL Roku remote, you know these things are very slippery. And finally, after falling enough, the little tab that locks the battery cover in place breaks. Then you get a remote where the battery cover keeps coming off. Aggravating! These silicone cases definitely solve both problems. If you have a remote with a broken door, this case will keep it in place. And since the case is stubborn, the remote control won't fly out of your hand anymore. However, if dropped, the case offers some protection. So another plus. Oh, and choosing colored skins (as opposed to black) lets you sort your remotes visually if you have more than one TCL TV. And using colors makes remotes easier to locate (because they ALWAYS get lost). My only real complaint is the price. $9.99 for 2 cases (at the time of this review) is a bit pricey. There are other sellers on Revain that sell similar 5-pack cases for $13.99. That concern aside, I really love these cases for all of the reasons above.
