GOOSUO smart battery can fully charge a dead battery, and low battery requires smart electronics. These two features are all most people need in a charger. If your needs dictate a launcher, you need something more powerful and expensive. The problem with higher capacity chargers is that they are large and cannot be hidden under the hood. To connect a battery maintenance device to a car battery in cold weather on a server or for long periods when the car is not in use requires stealth. Without them, the charger would be obvious and easily stolen. I've tried small battery conditioners over the years, but they didn't have the amperage required to fully charge a weak battery. Changing the battery type is done by repeatedly pressing the mode button to toggle between battery types. The charging current is determined by the charging circuit and regulates the charge to the optimum current intensity for the state of charge of the battery. The charging current is automatically adjusted from 3½ amps to 7 amps. When the battery in my car was almost fully charged, I saw the charge current drop to 3½ amps. This prevents the battery from being overcharged. With two charging adapters, the charger can be used with battery clamps to charge batteries with pins or with rings on studs for small motorcycle and golf cart batteries. The screw terminal adapter has a built-in 10A fuse that is used to protect the charger and small SLA batteries.
