First, let me introduce my use case to the front of this review. I haven't used this for a regular computer. I used this for a 3D printer. The RepRap RAMPS board is rated for 16A total, so I got a PSU that was the cheapest I could find that was rated for at least 16A on the 12V line and the ratings looked decent. So I tried this one. I have died two of them. Of course, this is probably a slightly unusual use case, and I just disabled the 12 volt rail. But while I haven't checked the current with an ammeter to confirm this, according to the specs (and the built in fuse) my use case should have matched the specs for that power supply. In any case, I've since replaced it with this one and have been very happy with the results: Rosewill Stallion Series 700W RD700 Power Supply You can save yourself a few extra bucks, I'd recommend jumping on this one. It's quieter and looks better.
