Good: The case is well-made and the compass is accurate.Disappointing: No precision in the manufacturing & assembly. When the bubble level is centered, the compass card is tilted so far that it doesn't spin. The lines etched in the lid are rotated out of alignment. The spindle is off-center of the lines above the compass.Wrong: The instructions refer to a prism to eliminate paralax - language apparently taken from higher-priced compasses. There is no prism in this compass, and paralax through the viewer is +/-3 degrees.Not unusable, but not a serious instrument.
