My old cars had two main problems. First, the tip was blunt, making it difficult to penetrate the corners of the fingers and almost impossible to access the part that grew under the skin. Second and most importantly, the nails were almost impossible to cut, even to squeeze with all your might. Just tried a hair clipper for the first time and I am 100% happy with it. It took a little care and stretching to make sure I didn't have any bumps, but the good news was they actually worked! Yes, I had to be a lot more careful, but I was able to reach any nails that were causing problems. Most importantly, they trim any nail, no matter how thick, with very little effort. A big improvement over older clippers which almost certainly toss more than new ones.
