I bought them for my Senegal. He loved her and quickly tore the toy into small pieces. Unfortunately, he didn't like the inner fiber of the coco coir, and once he destroyed the outer layer, he dropped the toy on the floor and ignored it. I tried giving one of the foot toys to my budgies and hung it in the cage. They liked it too and it took several days to completely destroy it. But they also responded to the coir inside and continued to ignore it. As much as I love this toy - it's safe and fun for birds - it's too expensive to just buy for a day or so without the occasional treat. Planet Pleasures makes larger chop piñatas at similar prices that I've also tried that last much longer and keep my birds entertained, like the Parrot Piñata Toy Octopus.
