Lids broke when putting them together for the first time.

As soon as I inboxed the product I was impressed with the aesthetics of the bowls. They look really good and I thought I would love them. I set all of them out and then when nesting them back together I put the largest lid on and the clip snapped off. I had high hopes for these but I guess these type of lids work better on square containers.

This set of five nesting bowls is terrific. The borosilicate glass is lightweight and sturdy. It does not stain or absorb odors. The bowls are safe in the microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher safe. The lids are plastic with silicone seals. They do stay secured and seem to be airtight. Hand wash and don''t expose to heat. The variety of sizes contributes to the sets versatility. Excellent and affordable..

Nice to have a glass bowl that you can put a lid on. Some recipes call for a glass container. Would buy this again.
