Unfortunately, I had the same issue someone else mentioned and had a bowl come out chipped from the dishwasher. I have owned the set for only 6 months. This is the first time I have ever had this issue with a glass storage container. I'm disappointed. =( I will now need to find another bowl the same size since this set is no longer available. I also have found that the lids are somewhat difficult to secure onto the bowls and also to take off.

Upon arrival, they do have a smell mainly because of the plastic to protect the lids. But after washing and letting it air dry it faded away. Glass is thick and they can all be stored inside one another with the lids. Great space saver! Lids do have a good closing snap with a good sealing but are not leakproof. Very nice set of glass bowls with lids. There is a nice variety and everything is great quality. I love the airtight lids and the sizes are perfect. These are easy to store and easy to clean. I think every kitchen needs a set of glass bowls like this, it’s a definite plus that they have nice lids that are easy to use.

Very substantial bowls. Heavy duty and well-made. Used the large bowl with lid and had to pry lid off with a butter knife, the seal was that good. If you’re looking for a nice glass bowls with lids, you found it. Highly recommend purchasing.

Ditch the plastic and go for glass! At first It looked like the tops weren't sealed because of how the blue part sits, where it looks uneven around it. I put water in a bowl and turned it upside down. It did not leak. As you can see the inside has a little lip where you can easily take the blue part out and in for washing, so no gunk stays underneath it.Just make sure the blue part is all the way in, otherwise you may have a leak. As soon as I inboxed the product I was impressed with the aesthetics of the bowls. They look really good and I thought I would love them. I set all of them out and then when nesting them back together I put the largest lid on and the clip snapped off. I had high hopes for these but I guess these type of lids work better on square containers.

The 3rd bowl in the set arrived with a lid lock that was snapped off. I feel the lid locks are weak and will break off easily. I would not recommend this set.

There are so many things to love about this set of glass bowls. They are great quality borosilicate glass bowls with locking lids so you don’t worry about spills. The airtight lids also keep the food fresh longer. They also fit perfectly nested into each other, saving previous space in the cabinets. The handle on the lid for the largest bowl is such a nice touch! Do not hesitate to buy these. Definitely better than Pyrex!

The bowls are very strong and enduring. I’ve had no issues. I’m not the best baker/cook and these bowls have tolerated my bad mixing skills. I also use them for food storage in the fridge, bring them to work to eat my lunch out of, and use them to rest dough as it rises. Glad I chose these

I absolutely love these containers! First of all; they stack so easily (including the lids), unlike my other glass containers. This saves me so much space under cabinets.Second; they are very durable. They are very well made out of a nice, thick glass. My son accidentally dropped it while loading the dishwasher and it wasn’t an issue.I would absolutely recommend these.
