Review on 🚗 Hi-Lift LM-100 Lift-Mate Jack by Walter Day

Pros: This handy little thing lets you raise the rig without de-stressing the hanger. What does that mean you say? When lifting the car onto the frame, you must take the weight of the car off the suspension until the wheel/tire is finally off the ground. On a car with a lot of articulation and travel, your suspension can fail quickly. But by jacking up the wheel instead of the frame, the weight of the car stays on the suspension so you don't have to jack up as much. This is great for keeping your center of gravity nice and low when jacking up. One more note. If you need to change a wheel/tire, this thing won't work - you have to jack up the frame to remove the wheel. In this case, use a ratchet strap to secure the strap to the frame. This keeps your suspension from "unloading" so you can still get the tire off the ground with minimal jacking. Cons: Oh yes. This is a review, not a Hi-Lift tutorial. Um, there are no real downsides. This is a great article. Bottom line: if you really "drive through this mall, then you should have one of these in your recovery bag."
