I was hoping for a decent amp for a simple two channel setup, nothing fancy just something functional. I connected my speakers, turned on the amp and the first thing I noticed was the hiss floor. The noise level of this amp is EXTREMELY high and by that I mean, regardless of the volume, when the amp is on there is a loud hiss coming out of the speakers. This noise persists during music playback and is very annoying. I can't get over it, even at this price point. Also, the included remote control didn't work at all with the included batteries. All right, I changed the batteries; no sweat. But even with a fresh pair of AAAs, the remote is fuzzy. Any other input from the console is unnoticed by the amp and I was sitting about 4ft from the amp. I really hate leaving negative reviews. I may have caught a bad apple, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this amp. Sad face.
