I had high hopes after reading the reviews. My wife complains that my mustache can become spiky and make me less kissable. That can not be! This product works as promised. Easy to apply and definitely softens things up well. It made my facial hair soft and silky. Unfortunately, although many reviewers have written that they are happy with the smell, the scent reminds me of the smell of an old-timey barbershop tonic. It lingers and only lingers. My wife agreed that I should keep looking for a less tasteful solution. I still gave it 4 stars as the product works really great and the flavor is purely subjective based on individual preferences.
