Full featured backup archiving tool, highly configurable
The product has been working well for us so far - no issues at all. We are using it mostly as an archive system where we store backups from many different sources (mainly VM images). It provides great flexibility with storage capacity options. Some time ago we have had problems with performance and reliability however this was sorted by adding more hardware. If you want to manage backups securely then use it! I would like to see some better integration between Safehost products which will allow easy access to them via OneDrive or similar services. Backups management.
Pros
- Fast restore/retention period, low amount CPU usage during backup jobs; ability turn off retention in case when something goes wrong is acceptable but also possibility upload everything without needless restrictions imposed upon customer needs
