I thought it’d be small, but it’s large & quite heavy. The wood is solid & smooth & my little niece loves the fishing rod.The only part that gets her confused is that the fishes have 2 sides. One side has a capital letter & the other side has a number. She’s 5 & doesn’t really know the difference between numbers and letters yet, so I have to make sure the fish is displaying the letter side to her. I wish it would have had the capital AND lower case letter instead of numbers. I guess the numbers will be helpful when she’s older though.The fishes A-Z contain numbers 1-19 on the opposite side, also symbols such as + - =.This was a very fun matching activity and kept her interested!
