Review on 🎵 Crosley 1975T Turntable System with Bluetooth, CD, AM/FM, Walnut Finish, and Free Speakers by Raymond Gray

I bought and received this product a year ago, just before Christmas. Due to some unforeseen and rather dire circumstances, I left the box unopened for the past year. Finally, I opened the sealed package, carefully unfolded the device and assembled everything (speakers, etc.). The radio and CD player worked perfectly. However, I bought it for the player. The turntable is completely useless. With or without a record, it makes a grinding noise when spinning. After examining it, I see that there is a serious design issue. The sound appears to be produced as it passes through the phonograph tonearm section and the stylus attached to the base on a small black plate, not far enough to avoid being scratched by the platter as it spins. I believe that is the reason for the noise. When I read reviews on this product I see a lot of comments about engine noise etc and other issues with the player as well as a few others in the CD section. I bought this turntable with separate speakers thinking it would be better than the all in one model. (I usually read product reviews and don't recall any negative reviews last year when I ordered them.) I emailed Crosley's 'Help' department yesterday and heard nothing, but again after seeing what the problem was - incorrect positioning of the phonograph section - I don't think they could have recommended me any adjustments to fix the problem. Also, when I searched Revain for information about my purchase, I received a notification that I was past the "Refund Date" which was December 26, 2018. So I'm stuck with a piece of junk I need to throw away or give away. someone or a place that just needs a CD player. I just wanted to write this review to warn other potential customers that this is a brand name to avoid at all costs. Don't waste your money, especially around Christmas.
