We bought 2 sets of these lights and strung them outside - nice bightness, the plastic bulbs lend a more solid feel to them - so all good.Then, a week later, we had a 20 minute hail storm - golf ball size hail which destroyed our roof, car windows and some siding - and even though the lights were smashed repeatedly, only 3 of the bulbs and 3 receptacle were damaged.

AND BOTH STRANDS STILL WORKED!So we contacted customer service to see about getting 3 little receptacles to attach to the strands - they responded quickly and decided to send me a complete replacement set of lights to make it more simple for me! Who does that anymore?Anyway - if you want a high quality set of outdoor lights and a great company to buy them from - this is the place!
