Requires plastic welder. I have a welder (fixed temperature) which has repaired the toy quite well. Can be used with plastic rods of different colors. Not sure why they list plastic water bottles. I strongly recommend that you do not attempt to repair plastic water bottles as melting polypropylene or polyethylene releases toxins. Use with a smoke filter and exhaust fan is required.
