Great case! To be honest, I was a bit concerned when I bought it. I was afraid it would be cheap and difficult to put on and take off my 3DS and cover important buttons, but it's quite the opposite! The case itself feels very smooth, I even like the texture more than a basic DS. Is there a small layer inside the case that I can only describe as a sponge? I don't know, it's pretty flimsy but still not as hard as regular plastic. It snaps into place on the 3DS with a discernible sound, but can be removed by simply pressing either side, and the whole thing pops out in the wind. All buttons are accessible and the pen is still very easy to reach. You can see the lights well, although they are dimmer compared to the caseless DS. My only complaint is that the power button is harder to press when the case is on, but to be honest I don't turn my DS off very often anyway, so if that wasn't too much of an issue. All in all I would definitely recommend this case, the quality is way better than I thought it would be.
