It's challenging, looks great on display!

A good model of a 2-6-2 wheel formula Prairie type steam locomotive. It has many details and small details. Some parts need to be bent, such as the engine cover, which is laser cut in grooves to curve. It is very easy to break a small model and judicious use of glue will help. Some of the pipes around the locomotive are so small that the small ones will break if the large pieces deform a little. More glue. Wax is needed to insert the ends of the parts into holes and grooves. My model came without wax, but I still have a small amount of wax left over from other puzzles. I use small white birthday cake candles when needed. You are excellent. I found that following the pictures closely for things like fitting the wheels and axles was a much needed practice. I don't need hours, but days to put together a three-dimensional puzzle. But it's fun and thought provoking as issues need to be addressed. When it's finished, it's very attractive. It is not intended as a toy, just for display. Wheels are not made to turn. The tender has a moving part - half of the top can be opened. I won't do the second one just because it's not mobile. I've built a Rokr Robotime film projector, airship and gramophone and it all really works! (Of course, the airship doesn't fly, it spins and walks across the ground.) I'll stick to pendulums, solar panels, clockwork motors, and cranks just for fun.
