Thinner foam/cushioning than other equal quality brands.
My son is 10 and has to wear his baseball cap under his helmet to keep it from shifting. I thought he was between sizes so we didn’t return it, however, I’ve since seen another brand with the same quality and thicker foam pads inside the helmet that would have worked better. Other than the fit, the color, matting and C-flap are as shown and if good quality.
- Provides the added protection and my son says it feels great, took very time to get use to it.
- May not offer enough protection for nose and mouth area
