These shock absorbers appear to be a decent quality product at a reasonable price. I installed them on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport. My car has a lot of rust on the underside so removing the old shock absorbers was a chore. After removing the old shock absorbers, installing new ones was easy. The only noticeable difference between them and the OEM shocks is the end where the two bolts attach. The OEM shocks had fully closed bolt holes on the bottom, while the KYB shocks had open U-shaped holes on the sides. I don't know why they are made that way, but it seems less reliable to me if one of the screws comes loose. After a test drive I found the ride to be smooth and calm and was very satisfied. I would recommend these dampers to anyone just looking to replace their stock dampers with something of similar performance.
