The original rear view camera in our camper van was pretty bad. The picture was not very clear and a little dark even after cleaning the glass on the front of the old camera. Although the installation was a bit more difficult than I would like as I had to remove the original mount and replace it with the one that came with the new camera, it wasn't too bad. This camera works according to the plug-and-play principle and delivers a significantly improved image. Much sharper than the original camera and at a much better price than an OEM replacement. I used a bit of Loctite on the screws to be on the safe side, as the screws that came with it weren't as strong as the original camera mounting screws.
