Natural pine shelves. This is the best feature of the product. The joints of wood and metal are held together by spot welding, creating an incredibly fragile piece when assembled. These shelves will sag in the middle unless you're only using them for a few picture frames or light knick-knacks. Forget loading those shelves with books. For a small price, you can buy lumber, cut it, paint it, and hang it with better quality staples. Also, there are no pilot holes in the tree. So you need to find some kind of corner fixture so you can lay down and drill through the wood before hanging the entire shelf. Here's how I put it together: 1. Place the left bracket along a flat wall, with the top facing the corner wall, with wall contacts on the floor.2. Position the bottom shelf along the shelf interface, repeat for the other two3. Insert wood screws 4. Mount right bracket in wood5. Insert remaining screws6. Measure the distance between the holes7. Dismantle shelves 8. Measure the hole pattern on the wall with a spirit level to ensure a 90 degree angle9. Hang the left bracket on the wall10. Hang the right bracket on the wall11. Assemble the shelves. Visibility would be much better if pilot holes were drilled into the wood.
