Review on ๐Ÿงฆ Truform 30-40 mmHg Compression Stockings: Thigh High Length, Dot-Top, Closed Toe, Black, Small โ€“ For Men and Women by David Boone

Excellent compression stockings - except for one tear

I disagree: In many ways these stockings are better than many on the market, but there is one major problem. First, good. These are quality socks. I have bought 30-40mm Hg compression stockings and stockings which are clearly not the ones that provide minimal support; I have bought lower quality compression stockings which are causing me to completely lose feeling in my legs. This product is dense without cutting off blood flow and has had a noticeable effect on my symptoms. I wear compression stockings for orthostatic hypotension โ€“ I have fewer dizzy spells and fainting spells with them than with many others. I expect they will be just as useful for other use cases (edema/swelling etc.). I'm really impressed with their ability to stay put. I have hairy thighs and I usually have to shave if I want the tops to stay up, otherwise they pile up around my knees every hour or two. They're definitely better when I shave, but I can still walk around a bit without putting them back on. are they comfortable Hell but nothing that pinches your legs that much won't - I've had way worse but not much better. They get into a bun behind the knees and for some reason my hair is still stuck to the material (oops). If you find any compression gear that doesn't do this please send it to me as I haven't found anything yet. Now for the bad: On the second wear, one of them broke (just below where the top of the "sticky" part is sewn to the rest of the stocking). As I said, compression stockings are not new to me. They all wear out over time, but [] and I don't think it's user error - I know how to put them on and I wasn't applying direct pressure to the top of the stocking when it tore (it happened , when I was adjusting part of the stocking, huddled behind the knee). I wash my hands and follow all other care instructions. This problem has happened to me before with an otherwise obviously inferior set, but not with otherwise good compression clothing. I've flashed it quite a bit to keep the tear from getting worse and it has worked so far (worn about 10 times and the other hasn't ripped). I suspect the one that snapped was defective, but it was an accident. It can still be worn, but I didn't expect compression stockings to require manual maintenance.
