I’m 5’3 and 140 and a Medium fits perfect, I’m slightly wider hipped and bigger thighs. My biggest goal was to cover my bum and back of my thighs because since gaining weight I was not comfortable wearing a bikini bottom. I LOVE this skirt. So much I ordered a leopard print right after I got the black one in.This skirt looks like a cute mini skirt. I love it because it’s modesty without compromising style- unlike those old mom one pieces with flowy skirts attached. Great for on the boat, the waterpark, and to wear with anyone you want to feel more modest around. I was worried the top band would squeeze but it actually fits very well. The bottoms also don’t dig in. The skirt does come up when swimming some, but it’s easy to pull right back down.Keep in mind this is not compression, so if you have more of a lower stomach it will show - it’s regular slick bathing suit material.
