This is my fourth resin printer and my first E6. I have bought 2 other Epax printers and have had absolutely no problems with the more expensive models. I chose the budget version. 1: The printer arrived well packaged and undamaged. I was a bit worried about the plastic cover/hood but it's absolutely not a problem. It was packed in 3 boxes plus foam. 2: I checked each item to make sure I didn't miss anything. 3: Since this is my fourth resin printer, I always read the instructions that come with it, no matter how experienced I am. . It's just good practice, especially when buying a new printer or something. The instructions that came with the printer are easy to read, understand, and follow. 4. Even though the instructions say the build plate comes pre-aligned, just level it yourself. This takes a few minutes and ensures you don't have a failed print right away. Or at least you know it wasn't the reason. 5: Please clean the bathtub and desk before printing. There may be some dust on it from the packaging material. I cleaned mine just to be sure. I recommend IPS and a microfiber cloth.6: As I have previous experience with Chitoobox and resin printing. I highly recommend taking the time to do something called resin validation or impact testing. YouTube is great for explaining this process and learning how to set it up for printing. I ran 3 validation/exposure tests: 1.85s, 2s and 2.25s. I found that for my printer, a 2 second shutter speed was my favorite spot. 7: Now it's not mandatory, but I recommend it. Apply some white lithium grease to the Z-axis rod to ensure its durability. I've done this on all my resin and FDM printers over the years with no problems. I hope you found this review helpful and I highly encourage you to join the Epax Facebook group and/or contact their great customer service if you have any further questions. I have personally only had positive interactions with Epax and that is the main reason I take the time to express how satisfied I am with their products and customer service.
