Sitting a little strange. I may have gone up a size, I'm 5ft 8" and an L. Velcro on top is very high on the calf, almost at the socket of the knee. The front hem rubs my big toes so much I have to tape them off to prevent chafing (sweaty), they're pretty light for their bulk, they don't move and look very cool. I get a lot of compliments fighting in them, last time I looked like something from RoboCop lol. They also feel very protective. My friend got them and sent them back for the above reasons. I'm too lazy to buy another pair of braces and they work most of the time so I guess I'll use them until I get tired of bandaging my big toes.
