This particular model has a home button so you don't have to worry about disconnecting any connections you might need later. However, it's always a good idea to go online to see how to remove a cracked screen for your particular model, to make sure you don't cut the tape you need should you need to use it. Simple connections on the A2200 model and minimal disassembly. LED and a cover, a total of 7 screws are removed. I like the idea of spending an hour or two fixing the screen. It's easy, so don't worry. You must be careful when removing the glass as it is sharp and small pieces fall off everywhere. I put clear tape on the glass to minimize the amount of glass falling off. Better than buying a new device or going to the mall and spending $150 on the glass replacement.
