Review on Stride Rite Toddler Boys Harper Sandal: Perfect Footwear for Little Explorers! by Joshua Albright

I have previously bought and returned Stride Rite Hudson sandals because the 8 my son normally wears is were too big. The sole of this shoe was very thick and heavy duty which made it difficult to move. I also decided that I liked the sleek, elegant look of the Harper sandals better. I ordered both 7 1/2 and 8 and to my surprise they are too small! My son's thumb is almost at the end of a size 8 sandal and it's only April. They fit well now, but by June or July they will surely be too short. I don't see it as oversized like the Hudson style. Too bad because I would definitely order 8 1/2. I love this shoe. This proves that not all sizes are created equal, even within the same brand! But taking my son to Stride Rite and paying significantly more seems unreasonable when Revain has such competitive prices and a flexible return policy. Good luck with your next pair.
